Introduction

Digimarktech LLC ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with our mobile application "Timely" (the "App").

Information We Collect

Timely is designed with privacy in mind. We collect limited, anonymous analytics data to help us improve the App. We do not collect any personally identifiable information, and the content of your calendar events and alarms is never sent to us. Your alarms and settings can be saved to your own iCloud account, which we describe below.

Analytics Data

We collect anonymous usage analytics to understand how the App is used and to improve user experience. This includes:

• Device information: Device model, iOS version, and app version
• App settings: Language preference, days-ahead setting, and subscription status (Pro or Free)
• Aggregate counts: Number of alarms and calendars (not the content)
• Usage events: App launches, screen views, feature usage (e.g., creating alarms, changing settings, sharing an alarm, turning iCloud sync on or off), and errors. The Timely share sheet and Messages extensions record the same kind of anonymous events
• Anonymous device identifier: A randomly generated ID or Apple's vendor identifier, used solely to distinguish unique app installations

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• Calendar event titles, descriptions, or any event content
• Alarm titles or content, including alarms you share or receive
• Text you share to Timely to create an alarm
• Location data
• Contacts or other personal data

How the App Works

Timely accesses your device's calendar data solely to display your events and create system alarms. This access is:

• Local only: Your calendar content remains on your device
• Read-only: We do not modify your calendar events
• Permission-based: You control what calendar access is granted
• Content not transmitted: No calendar event content or alarm content is sent to our servers or to any analytics service

iCloud Sync

Timely can save your alarms and app settings (alarm offset, days-ahead range, language, and a count of alarms created) to your own iCloud account using Apple's iCloud key-value storage. This lets your alarms come back when you reinstall the App or set up a new device.

• Your account, not ours: The data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to it
• Optional: You can turn "Save to iCloud" off at any time in the App's Settings
• Not your calendar: Calendar events are never copied to iCloud by Timely. Only alarms you created and the settings above are synced

Sharing Alarms and Shared Text

Timely includes an iMessage app and a share sheet extension. Both work on your device.

• Sharing in Messages: When you share an alarm or an event countdown, its title and time are sent as a message to the people you choose, through Apple's Messages. It travels the same way as any other message you send and does not pass through our servers. The recipient reviews the alarm in Timely before it is added; nothing is scheduled on their device automatically
• Text shared to Timely: When you share selected text to Timely, the date and time are read from that text on your device to pre-fill a new alarm. The text is not sent to us or to any third party

Third-Party Services

Timely uses the following third-party services:

• PostHog: For anonymous analytics to help us understand app usage and improve the user experience. PostHog receives only the anonymous data described above. View PostHog's Privacy Policy
• RevenueCat: For managing in-app purchases. RevenueCat processes purchase transactions through Apple's App Store. View RevenueCat's Privacy Policy
• Apple iCloud: For the optional sync of your alarms and settings to your own iCloud account, as described above. View Apple's Privacy Policy

We do not use any advertising networks or sell your data to third parties.

Data Security

We take data security seriously. Analytics data is transmitted securely using industry-standard encryption. Since we do not collect personally identifiable information, there is minimal risk to your privacy. All core app functionality (calendar access, alarms) occurs locally on your device using iOS's built-in security features, and optional iCloud sync is protected by your Apple Account and Apple's iCloud security.

Data Retention

Anonymous analytics data is retained for a reasonable period to help us analyze trends and improve the App. Since this data is not personally identifiable, it cannot be linked back to you.

Children's Privacy

Our App does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The anonymous analytics we collect cannot be used to identify individual users. If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the App and on our website. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

iOS Requirements

Timely requires iOS 26+ and uses Apple's AlarmKit framework to provide system-level alarm functionality, and ActivityKit for Live Activities on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. All permissions and data access follow Apple's privacy guidelines and remain under your control.
